The Isy B. brand made its debut solo appearance at our first charity Good Life Fashion Event at the luxe Sand Angels boutique in Camana Bay this June. Tickets for the exclusive event sold out well before with ticket requests pouring long after the last ticket had been claimed.
The event was a fantastic collaboration celebrating the launch of the newest Isy B. collection for sale at Sand Angels, Camana Bay. We also took the opportunity to use the event as a platform to raise funds and awareness for the NCVO Caring Cousins Program. I loved introducing an element of girl power to the event by highlighting the work of our girl-power sponsors, and some of the most creative business women in Cayman including; Bridget Shaughness founder of Adroit Beauty, Michelle Morgan actress, film producer and writer of Tripping Through, Stephanie Gail entrepreneur and energy healer of Sand and Stone Boutique, Stacey-Ann Kelly, model, entrepreneur and attorney, Sharon Eyers of Le Visage, and of course Catherine Dawson-Jones founder of Sand Angels.
Each girl-power sponsor generously donated giveaways and door prizes to lucky winners in the audience making for a fun an interactive start to the evening.
The runway show itself featured some of Cayman’s most amazing local and international models strutting to a girl-power soundtrack provided by DJ Glenroy and was a smash hit with the fashionista crowd.
The girls were expertly made up by the team at Le Visage in Camana Bay, and SSH Creative, while the sleek hairstyling was provided by Jamie Blake and Massimo of Halo Hair Salon.
The jet-set crowd enjoyed bubbles provided by the West Indies Wine Company while taking in the beautiful Isy B. 2016 / 2017 Resort collection.
After the show, there was the opportunity to shop the collection and take home favorite pieces and I loved getting to meet the crowd who were generous with their positive feedback. So grateful to everyone who supported our show including Camana Bay and talented photographer Scott Swing whose shots of the event were spectacular. We look forward to hosting another exclusive Isy B. Good Life Fashion event as this was so well received. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Catherine at Sand Angels and emcee the show, and to see how much love and support there is for the Isy B. brand in Cayman.
